The school is set in beautiful , spacious grounds. There are two large fields, a playgound and an outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool has just been refurbished and we are indebted to The Bedford Charity who contributed £4500 to the project.
There is also a large nature reserve, which includes a pond. We are very grateful to the working party of parents and volunteers who help keep the nature reserve under control.

A school garden was started in April 2005 at the request of the children. This has been a huge success and has provided lots of excellent learning opportunities. The children have had a wonderful time preparing the ground, planting different seeds, making a scarecrow and harvesting some of the crops.

The children planted potatoes, broad beans and runner beans, onions, lettuces, carrots, peas, tomatoes and pumpkins. We are very proud of our first harvest. The potatoes, lettuces and radishes were very tasty. We are hoping to harvest the rest very soon.

The playground is divided into two sections. There are markings on the playground to stimulate play and there is also a 'friendship bench'.
The PTFA have kindly erected 3 gazebos on the small field. These provide seating and shade.
There is a trim tram on the large field.

Pupils developing their gymnastic skills.
The school is lucky to have a large hall as it is joint provision with the village hall.
